Reporting to the Senior Account Manager, the Junior Account Manager is responsible for ensuring that all orders are completed according to customer guidelines and timelines and making sure all issues or delays are conveyed to the Sales team. They are responsible for developing in-depth knowledge of the requirements and processes for the account(s) on their team. They will delegate tasks as well as support and guide the other team members to ensure timely and successful delivery of our product according to customer needs. They will also work with the Senior Account Manager to complete projects and implement new processes to increase efficiency and develop better workflows. The ability to anticipate problems and plan ahead are essential for success in this position. The ideal candidate is a strong multi-tasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can delegate tasks.Responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact for any and all matters specific to your account(s)
  • Delegate tasks to your team members while reviewing and managing their workload to ensure consistent submissions done in accordance with company and account specific requirements and timelines.
  • Concise and professional communications with inside teams and outside contractors, accurate tracking and reporting of work order status, and making sure orders ship on time without chargebacks and/or expense off-sets.
  • Run daily and weekly reports to ensure purchase orders are shipping on time.
  • Work with team to ensure all product delays, product changes and shortages are conveyed accurately and in a timely matter to Sales team.
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed.
  • Work with your team members to coordinate and follow up with other departments from time of receipt to delivery of goods to ensure that all aspects of orders are completed in a timely manner.
  • Document and set up the order processes and requirements for new & existing customers.
  • Review vendor manuals and update all packing instructions to comply with current customer requirements - communicate with sales rep to clarify any potential issues in a proactive manner.
  • Overall proactive approach to work, taking ownership of tasks, moving forward as appropriate to meet deadlines and objectives.
  • Research and resolve chargebacks from customers to prevent future occurrences.
  • Send weekly recap emails to upper management with any delays or issues that have impacted orders.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in Account Management or related field.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong product knowledge in contemporary market and strong computer skills.
  • Highly motivated and organized with strong leadership skills and a team player mentality.
