The Key Account Representative is responsible for cultivating, expanding, and refining business relationships with key accounts in North America. This position entails comprehensive data analysis, purchase order management, and strategic task execution under the guidance of the Key Account Sales Operations Manager. Effective communication, relationship building, and collaboration within the sales department are fundamental aspects of this role.Essential Functions

  • Responsible for managing purchase orders for delivery within the parameters of current terms, conditions, pricing, and availability. This also includes representing and updating demand for forecast accounts.
  • Build a strong relationship with external contacts to support operational objectives and foster a strong connection with our accounts.
  • Responsible for communicating and coordinating with customers to meet expected and unexpected delays with product.
  • Identify areas of opportunity to improve the process and accuracy within your accounts and work with the Key Account Sales Ops Manager to execute.
  • Responsible for issuing Return Authorizations for any defective product in accordance with the guidelines set forth in the ISO Returns Procedure.
  • Responsible for researching and managing Vendor Compliance guidelines and penalties.
  • Responsible for working in conjunction with Key Accounts Sales Ops Manager and outside Sales Representatives to execute annual Sales goals and Sales initiatives for each of the key accounts assigned. The Key Accounts Director and Senior Sales Management are ultimately responsible for finalizing these goals and initiatives.
  • Responsible for achieving sales growth, service goals, and initiatives for key accounts as identified and evaluated by Key Accounts Sales Operations Manager.
  • Opportunity for personally visiting your assigned key accounts based on operational goals. This is to include travel to regional shows, demonstrations, and sales events as prioritized by the Key Account Sales Operations manager.

Requirements

Education:

  • Preferred: 2-4 Years of College Education.

Work Experience

  • Preferred: Combination of wholesale or retail order management experience.

Skills And General Experience

  • Time management skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Excel are mandatory. Must be articulate, a confident public speaker, and well organized.
