Exciting opportunity to manage sales to independent eyewear and sun accounts in the Pacific Northwest. The role is for a territory fashion eyewear sales representative in Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana. Highly competitive compensation packages offered.
Due to Dita’s continuous growth and the exciting new product and brand development of the Dita Lancier brand, Dita is searching for new sales representatives in various territories in the USA. Objective is to maximize sales in appropriate eyewear accounts in territory while enhancing brand integrity.
Job Responsibilities:
- Sales to current and new brand appropriate retail partners in optical sales channel.
- Territory: States of Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana.
- Identify new target accounts that are appropriate for the brand and gives the company incremental sales opportunities.
- Attend trade shows as necessary to execute sales plan. Make appointments with current and new accounts in territory at trade shows where DITA is present.
- Travel to accounts, company office and trade shows as necessary.
- Develop stretch yet obtainable budget for territory in coordination with USA management team.
- Execute net sales so that actual exceeds budget for each sales period.
- Work closely with marketing department on various trade initiatives with accounts.
- Give feedback to product team on specific customer needs and product trends in territory.
- Build and cultivate long-lasting relationships with both existing and potential retail partners.
- Provide excellent customer service and act as brand ambassador by educating clients about Dita’s heritage, values and the Dita Lancier brand.
- Provide strong support to retailers: product training, merchandising, trunk shows, etc.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience selling fashion eyewear to optical accounts in relative territory.
- Experience selling products with high performance sunglass lenses a major plus.
- Knowledge of the eyewear industry within territory with well-established relationships.
- Demonstrated experience in growing territories and closing sales.
- Excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills.
- Ability to travel extensively in the defined territory.
- Experience managing the sales funnel and closing new business through strategic partnerships.
- Outstanding training skills to effectively convey brand image and product/company value to customers. Capacity to make exceptional, compelling presentations to accounts.
- Ability to be creative and strategic in driving the business as position is performance driven.
- Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills and ability to develop relationships.
- Passionate about eyewear and quality design.
